Leads Finder Software Tutorial

Leads Finder Software is a simple to use yet very powerful piece of software. Simply follow the instructions below and you'll be able to use the software with great ease.

Step 1: Unzip the installation zip file and click on the .exe file to being installation.

Note :   Leads Finder Software needs to be installed on your PC. Just double click on the LeadsFinderSoftwareSetup.exe and follow the simple installation process.

Step 2: After installation, open Leads Finder Software.

Step 3:  Click on the 'Settings' button. This is very important part as you cannot use the email function if you donnot set this first.

You might want to use a proxy server if you happen to be under a firewall or you have connection restriction. Select from the list of ' Suggested Anonymous Proxies'. Otherwise, under 'Connection', click on the 'Don't Use Proxy'. 

Step 4: Next, click on 'Email Settings' to email your leads with your offer through the software. Enter the number of emails that you wish to send per hour. 

Note: Do not put a high number in the field. If you send too many emails within an hour, you might be banned from CraigsList. Recommended maximum is 10. 

Step 5: Still under 'Email Settings', click on the 'Add' button. 

In the fields, enter your email address and the name that you wish to send the emails under. Enter your SMTP Server and the Port number. Check 'Need Authentication' and enter your account login details. Click on 'Save' to save the settings. 

Gmail SMTP Settings:

smtp.gmail.com 
Port: 465 or 587 

Yahoo SMTP Settings:

smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com
Port: 587 

AOL SMTP Settings:

smtp.aol.com
Port: 587 

Step 6: Search for leads by selecting one of the 4 most popular online classified ads site under 'Source' in the left hand menu bar. 

Step 7: Select under 'Categories' for the categories in which your desired leads will be found in. And then select under 'Locations', to search for leads in the specified location. 

This step is very important as the quality and relevance of your results will largely depend on the categories or location you've selected.

So do try to select the category that you think is the most relevant one. If you're selling your services, do select the "Services" category.

If you're looking for people who might be interested in buying your products, you might want to select the "Wanted" category, which is a sub-category of the "For Sale" category.

As for "Locations", you can use the software to target a specific country or US city/state for instance.

Step 8: Then enter in your keyword and select the search interval. Click on the 'Search' button to begin your search. 

Step 9: Once the search results have been gathered, look at the headline and descriptions to see if there are any leads who might be interested in what you have to offer. 

Step 10: Then, click on the 'Edit Email' button found directly below the search results. Enter in the subject and the content of the email. 

Step 11: Next, select the leads who will be interested in your offer from the list of search results.

You can select the leads to email to in the following manners: 

• Manually select individual leads by clicking on them individually. 

• Hold the 'Ctrl' keyboard button and click on the multiple individual search result items. 

• Hold the 'Shift' keyboard button to select multiple search result items. 

• Click on 'Select All' to select all the search results. 

Step 12: Then click on the 'Send Email' button found directly below the search results. Your email will be sent to them. The sending process will be recorded in the bottom 'Log'  box. Successfully and unsuccessfully sent emails will be recorded in the log.

If the email sending is unsuccessful, you might want to check your connection settings again.

Note: Select only those leads who will benefit from your offering. DO NOT randomly select all the search result items with the intention of spamming them with your offer. Spamming with the use of this software is NOT ALLOWED.
